Policies

Cancellation: We collect a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation. As an island destination, we can't easily replace cancellations like mainland hotels with lots of rooms and big marketing budgets. We refund deposits for cancellations made 21 days or more in advance, less a 20% cancellation fee for the entire stay. There is no refund available for late arrival or early departure. If you wish to cancel, call the hotel and speak to a live agent. Sending an email is not sufficient cancellation notice as we can't be responsible for email that goes into spam or is not delivered. Leaving a message on voice mail is not a sufficient cancellation notice. Please, talk to one of us live or we cannot honor the cancellation refund policy.

Travel Insurance: We highly recommend travel insurance. We realize that cancellations are sometimes beyond your control. For this reason, we recommend buying travel insurance for peace of mind and, if appropriate, you may consider buying the more expensive Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) insurance. The Wall Street Journal recommends the following websites: TRAVELINSURANCE.COM and SQUAREMOUTH.COM.

Pets: While we are dog lovers, XX is not equipped to welcome pets. No pets allowed. A $300 fine will be charged and you will be asked to either remove your pet or completely leave the property. This excludes our designated pet rooms:119(Manatee Room),120(Seahorse Room), and 121(Sailboat Room).

Occupancy: All guest rooms are for one or two people only and we must strictly enforce this. There is a $250/night charge for each unauthorized guest and you will be required to check out immediately. We are not appropriate for children under the age of 16.

Smoking: There is no smoking of anything or any kind allowed on property, including rooms, decks, porches and exit stairs. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointed look and a $250.00 room cleaning fee.

Check-in/check-out: Check-in is between 4 to 9 pm. Check-out is 10 am. There is a $100 charge for check outs after 10–our maids will have to turn your room in a flurry.

Damage & lost keys: Charges will be assessed to the credit card on file for any damage you cause to the property including damage to furniture, linens, carpeting, missing items, etc. Lost key fee is $50.

Quiet hours: Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Guests who disregard staff's request for quiet will be required to check out immediately, at our discretion. Be kind to others, please, while part of the hotel community.

Injury or loss: The hotel is not responsible for accidents or injuries to guests, nor for the loss of money, jewelry,or valuables of any kind.

Peace and Harmony By entering this facility, each person agrees to abide by all rules of the hotel whether written or implied. As a small property, we insist all guests respect one another and our house rules for harmony.

The Hotel retains the right to cancel any reservation that does not adhere to our policies for minimum night stay, an invalid deposit credit card or any other policy.

Entrance constitutes permission for management of the hotel to photograph/video anyone while on the premises and to use those pictures/video for any lawful purpose without written permission or compensation from the individuals.

You agree to be held fully responsible for any and all damages or fees incurred by yourself, anyone in your party or your guests. You authorize payments from your credit card for reservation, store/amenity/activity fees, guest fees, damages or other charges incurred by you, anyone in your party or your guests without further notice. You agree to pay for any fees upon invoice if your credit card is declined. You acknowledge that your room is non-transferrable and for your use alone. You acknowledge that there are no refunds for early departures, no matter the reason and the hotel reserves the right change policies or remove anyone or revoke privileges without further notice or reimbursement.
