Any guest that reserves a reservation with Ocean Edge at Daytona is also agreeing to the following terms and conditions!

Check-in / Check-out / Business Hours

As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, room number or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive visits from. Safety cameras are used throughout the premises, and anyone on our property may be recorded. The hotel assumes no responsibility for any personal bodily injury incurred while using the fire pit. If you use fire pit, you do so at your own risk.

  • We are always here! Office hours are 9AM until 5PM however, there will always be someone ready to help with any needs during your stay, just call or text our office mobile phone and get an immediate response!
  • Check-in time: 3:00 p.m. We will be ready for you.
  • Check-out time: 11:00 a.m. Seize the day, friend!
  • All our guests are asked to respect the property and privacy of the neighbors and to not make any excessive noise between the hours of 10:00 PM and 07:00 AM. This rule is applied as per the Code of Ordinances by the City of Daytona in sections 42-213 ,42-214, and 42-215, so any late and loud partying is unfortunately, not, permitted.
  • Ocean Edge is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We offer accessible rooms throughout the hotel.

After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay (depending on availability) by simply letting us know before you arrive. If you are already staying with us and you would like to stay longer, please let us know at least by 10AM on your check- out date. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans and this can include relocating you to a similar room should this be necessary. Vacations should be stress-free and for that reason, you get to park right in front of your room (or super close). By parking a vehicle at our facility, you (and your guests) are doing so on your own accord. Parking is limited to one parking space per room. The hotel does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property. But guess what? We have got state-of-the-art surveillance cameras watching over the parking lot so, should anything seem amiss, let us know, and we will check out the footage. And if you plan on leaving your car in our parking lot for a while, not problem, just let us know, as we reserve the right to tow vehicles.  

Prices and Taxes

Reservations should be prepaid with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or through the channel you booked on. All guests must be 21 years or older to book a reservation with ID verification. If guest is younger than 21 years of age a confirmation will not be made, should a confirmation be made accidently, a full refund will be given to the guest and their stay will be cancelled. Upon reservation, a charge will be made on your credit or debit card for the total amount of the room with tax as well as an additional $60.00 cleaning fee. We acknowledge that accidents do happen and because of this we only accept card as payment. If any damages are found we will charge the appropriate amount to the card on file. If the card on file does not have sufficient funds, we will contact you for a new card to charge the damages on.

  • We believe the children are our future, but you still must be 21 years old and present to book a room
  • Is it really you? A valid photo ID is required upon booking
  • All requests to reserve a room must include the first and last name of all adults occupying the room and a valid credit card for a guarantee of arrival
  • Our room rates are always awesome, and they are subject to change
  • All rooms are subject to a 6.5% tax collected by the State of Florida and a 6.0 % tax collected by the city of Daytona
  • Group trips are fun! When booking, keep maximum occupancy rules in mind- two people max for rooms with a single bed (Queen or King) and four people max for rooms with multiple beds. Cots are available for certain rooms if an additional person is added however fees do apply (check room confirmation to see if your room allows this).
  • Got babies? One child under 2 years old stays free of charge. We have pack-and-play cribs available upon request, subject to availability with a daily fee of $10 a day and $35 a week.

The standard booking price includes the following:

  • All taxes
  • Utilities (water and electricity)
  • Internet usage
  • Towels, bed linen and hairdryer
  • All room amenities and facilities as mentioned on our website pages and in our correspondence
  • Cleaning before and after your stay (weekly cleaning is available upon stays 7-28 days long)

Room refreshes will not be offered during stays. Should you need fresh towels or linen, please call the office mobile number located in your room or on the office door or email Oceanedgeatdaytona01@gmail.com


When you make a reservation, you are booking an apartment type room (not a specific apartment). Each apartment type includes similar apartments of similar size and equipment; however, interior design can be different. Reservations can only be taken and confirmed by making an advance payment of 100%of the full rental amount. This can be paid using debit and credit cards and ensures a guaranteed room. We will process your booking within 24 hours of receiving your request. Please note, your booking has not been made or verified until you receive a confirmation email from Oceanedgeatdaytona01@gmail.com.

Smoking and Damages Policy

In our entire short-stay rooms smoking is nonallowed. You will be asked to sign a document that you agree to a $250.00 fine if ANY evidence of smoking is found in the room. Please note that we comply with the local health and safety guidelines and recommendations provided by the EEC on smoking in public places.

Please Note: Immediate termination of the reservation agreement is possible if:  

  • More guests stay in the property than agreed
  • Excessive noise is made between the hours of 10:00 PM and 07:00 AM
  • Sub-letting the room (or giving it to other people). The number of people residing in the room should be the same as confirmed in the booking. Accommodation for additional guests may be requested for certain rooms. A $20 charge for each additional guest per night will be charged with a provided cot free of charge. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation, without refund, if an unconfirmed number of people stay overnight in the room.
  • Ocean Edge does not allow any pets in the rooms. A $300 fine will be claimed if pets will be accommodated in the rooms. This excludes our designated pet rooms:110(Sandcastle Room),119(Manatee Room),120(Seahorse Room), and 121(Sailboat Room).
  • A maximum of one pet is allowed per designated pet room. No charge. Just make sure your furry friends do their business in the designated area on the back side of the building and stay on a leash when outside the room. No rogue poppers and, sorry no pets can be left unattended in rooms at any time even if they are service or emotional support.

For our pet friendly rooms there is a $20 fee per night, $100 fee per week, or $150 fee per month (this fee is also applied for 2 or 3 week stays) required in the form of a Credit card pre-authorization. Should your pet cause property or item damage, an incidental fee will be charged at market value to your credit card on file.  No animals other than cats and dogs are allowed!

Ocean Edge is not responsible for lost or forgotten personal things at the apart-hotels premises.

Pre-existing damages or room issues must be reported to the front desk immediately after registration to avoid responsibility and potential charges. The hotel allows guests, with permission, to receive occasional packages and special deliveries at the property however, we are not responsible for the packages or their contents or the storage of them. We want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it’ and property damages or missing items will be charged to your credit card at market value. For rooms with Kitchens or Kitchenettes, please practice safe cooking habits and do not leave burners on unattended. Please do not cook with strong smelling ingredients. Lingering smells that require room closure and deep cleans will be charged a cleaning fee between $60 and $250 depending on the severity of the smell.

Firearm Policy

Any guest or visitor who is in possession of a firearm on hotel premises is personally responsible for abiding by all applicable federal, state, and local laws with respect to firearms. Subject to the following restrictions, guests of Ocean Edge at Daytona who are lawfully permitted to possess a firearm may bring such firearm onto hotel premises, provided that the presence of the firearm on hotel premises: is for storage purposes only; the firearm is and remains at all times unloaded; the firearm is and remains secured in a locked, hard-sided firearm container, provided by the guest, while transported to or from the guest room and while stored therein; and the firearm remains securely safeguarded at all times in a locked guest room or locked personal vehicle, except when transporting the firearm to or from a guest room. Guests who fail to abide by this policy may be asked to leave the hotel premises, without refund. The hotel premises are private property, and our firearms policy applies to: (i) all firearms, regardless of whether the firearm is a handgun or a long-barreled gun; and (ii) all guests and visitors, even those possessing a valid license or permit to carry a firearm. The only exception to the restrictions described in this firearms policy statement is for law enforcement officers and designated military personnel, who are on-duty and required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties.

Force Majeure Clause

No party shall be liable or responsible to the other party, nor be deemed to have defaulted under or breached this Agreement, for any failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any term of this Agreement (except for any obligations to make payments to the other party hereunder), when and to the extent such failure or delay is caused by or results from acts beyond the impacted party’s(“Impacted Party”) control, including, but not limited to, the following force majeure events(“Force Majeure Events”): (a) acts of God; (b) a natural disaster(fires, explosions, earthquakes, hurricane, flooding, storms, explosions, infestations), epidemic, or pandemic; (c) war, invasion, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), terrorist threats or acts, riot or other civil unrest;(d) government order or law; (e) actions, embargoes or blockades in effect on or after the date of this Agreement; (f) action by any governmental authority;(g) national or regional emergency; (h) strikes, labor stoppages or slowdowns or other industrial disturbances; and (i) shortage of adequate power or transportation facilities. The Impacted Party shall give Notice within 3 workdays of the Force Majeure Event to the other party, stating the period the occurrence is expected to continue. The Impacted Party shall use diligent efforts to end the failure or delay and ensure the effects of such Force Majeure Event are minimized. The Impacted Party shall resume the performance of its obligations as soon as reasonably practicable after the removal of the cause. In the event that the Impacted Party’s failure or delay remains uncured for a period of 3workdays following Notice given by it, the other party may thereafter terminate this Agreement upon Notice.
